Why I Built It

This app began with a conversation over coffee. We were talking about how awkward it can be to change the volume on a phone with just one hand. One man with arthritic hands showed how he had to use his other hand to brace the phone just to press the buttons — and even then, it was hard to hit the right one.

A young woman made a great point: “Why are we still using 20th‑century buttons on a 21st‑century device?” Everyone at the table agreed: changing the volume was unnecessarily fiddly. I looked for a simple app that made it easier — and found nothing. So I built one.

What people wanted: one‑finger adjustment; a quick, on‑screen control; and the option to hear volume changes for low‑vision users.

What I built: a volume slider, wake‑on‑touch to bring the screen to life, and a clean interface with no ads or tracking. There’s a friendly one‑time unlock after a 14‑day trial.
